Product Description

Commonly referred to as the superior C-spine immobilizer, the Miami cervical collar is a two-piece, semi-rigid collar which improves patient well-being and prognosis through careful immobilization of the upper vertebrae. Extensions of the front and back pieces along with the posterior occipital segment restrict unnecessary flexion, extension and rotation of the neck, to assure immobilization of the cervical spine in trauma and stenosis.

Features:

  • Diffusion tabs preventing pressure sores
  • Large anterior opening providing access to the trachea
  • Adjustable aluminum spine element
  • Plush padding for extra comfort

Indications

  • Spinal stenosis
  • Cervical fractures and minor cervical injuries
  • Chronic conditions of the neck and spine (e.g. osteoporosis)
  • To prevent further internal head injuries during accidents

USES:

  • Cervical Injuries
  • Immobilization after trauma/surgery
  • Spinal Stenosis
